Please read the latest update from ODPC Pastoral Staff, ODPC Session, & Our COVID-19 Task Force:
Dear ODPC Family,
Change in Reopening Schedule:
We care about the health and safety of our staff and members. In this time of an unprecedented pandemic, we are treating health and safety as a top priority, guiding all decisions. Recently we learned of a COVID-19 positive test involving a member of our Worship Team.
Due to the positive test, and the increase in active cases within our community, we have made the decision to NOT reopen for live worship on June 21. We are targeting mid to late July to resume onsite worship. The Task Force will continuously assess the risk prior to setting a specific date.
Online worship will continue with the 9:15 am Contemporary Service, and 11:00 am Traditional Service.
Steps We Have Taken
In addition to notifying those who may have come into contact with the individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, we are taking additional measures to ensure our church is properly cleaned and disinfected.
When we reopen, we will continue our heightened environmental cleaning regimen in accordance with CDC recommendations, including routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces within the facility. We have asked our staff to continue their personal regimen related to reducing transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
Our commitment to the health and safety of members, staff, and others with whom we interact is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time. Please contact the church office or visit our website at www.oceandrivechurch.org for the latest
information and updates.
In His Service,
Pastors Daryle, Kelly, Mark, ODPC Session, ODPC COVID-19 Task Force
