Over the last 25 years, the ODPC Annual Golf Tournament has grown into a vital church tradition bringing together our members, community friends, and area golfers for fellowship and slightly competitive fun for a great cause!
This beloved event serves as one of our important annual Church fundraisers. We are so grateful for our donors, players, teams and sponsors that faithfully give to each tournament year. All proceeds fund ODPC Annual Special Community Events such as our yearly yummy church picnic, delicious Thanksgiving luncheon, and the fun Pelican’s game , all open to the church and community.

Highlights from Our 25th Annual Tournament!
What an amazingly beautiful, successful, wonderful day of golf! We had 136 players, about 115 prizes, great food and fellowship, and even a little rain that came through quickly. The rain returned just as we finished, bringing with it some cooler temperatures that made for a beautiful afternoon! We were honored to have Senator Greg Hembree with us for the Star-Spangled Banner, and we are grateful for a day filled with fellowship and fun. God is so good all the time!
Our 2026 winning teams:
Men’s Team: Charlie Womble, Denny Adkins, Dennis Helms and Andrew Calder
Mixed Team: Wanda Wilder, Chris Campbell, Miles Townsend and Drew Meyer
Putting Contest Winner: Danny Andrews

Congratulations to all our winners, and thank you to all of the amazing players and special guests who made this tournament possible and such a success. This event benefits our community outreaches, and we are so grateful for everyone who played, volunteered, sponsored, donated and helped make the day so great.
We would also like to give a shout out to our Membership Coordinator and Golf Tournament Lead Organizer , Mary Gail Stanaland and her team of volunteers for all their long hours and faithful dedication. We love you!
